Google Analytics

     Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a service offered by Google that enables Web masters and website owners to freely access Web analytics data. Google Analytics tracks visitors on your site and also tracks the performance of your marketing campaigns.

Google Analytics  is  a free tool which helps to see whether marketing campaigns are paying off well or not or your website is attracting the targeted visitors or not.
All you need to do is log in to Google Analytics account and  enter username and password. Google will list all the websites and blogs you’re tracking.

Some important features of Google Analytics

  • Audience Overview
This is a very high level dashboard that describes your visitors, where they come from, and in general, what they are doing on your website. It gives an overview of the devices they use to reach your site, and if you have Demographics turned on in your tracking code, it will show the Affinities of those visitors, which is a sense of what those people tend to look for on the Internet.

  • Realtime Overview
Realtime data shows the current overview of visitors visiting the websites.
It also shows the country and cities from where visitors are coming from and which pages of the website they are browsing.

  • Social Media Overview
Social media is a powerful way to drive traffic to your site. Most bloggers encourage their readers to share their content via Facebook and Twitter – and when their users actually do so, it can be enough to bring in tens of thousands of new readers, subscribers, and consumers. We all want to go viral on social media.
